About Weseloh Nissan
The Weseloh Auto Group's roots date back to the early 1920's when C.B. Weseloh operated a service station, garage, and towing service in Ramona, California. In 1930, the company began selling Chevrolet's as a sub-franchise of Campbell Chevrolet in San Diego. After a few years, Weseloh became a fully franchised Chevrolet dealer, and opened a dealership in Escondido, California in October 1936. In August of 1940, another dealership was opened in Oceanside, California. C.B. Weseloh's son, Ben, took over the Oceanside dealership in February of 1955, and from 1957 through 1963 Oceanside also had an Oldsmobile franchise. On Labor Day weekend of 1976, the Oceanside Dealership was moved to its current location in "Car Country Carlsbad".
Over the years the family has also owned Marina Chevrolet in San Clemente, Hacienda Ford in San Clemente and then San Juan Capistrano, and Weseloh and Sons Chevrolet Hummer in San Juan Capistrano. In 1991, Weseloh Honda was added to the family of stores. In 2001, we opened a Honda motorcycle store named Performance Motorsports. In 2009, this dealership became a Yamaha Dealership and goes by OC Yamaha. Also in 2009, we opened Weseloh Nissan and Weseloh Kia, both here in San Juan Capistrano. The final addition happened late in 2010 with another Kia dealership located in Carlsbad. The group now consists of Weseloh Chevy and Kia in Carlsbad, Weseloh Nissan, Kia and Honda in San Juan Capistrano, and OC Yamaha also in San Juan Capistrano. We still have 9 family members working full-time at the stores. We feel with the addition of the new brands to the Weseloh Auto Group, we have a small mall for San Diego and Orange County shoppers in all price ranges.
The "dedication to excellence" which is the mainstay of our Weseloh Auto Group, continues to offer quality sales and service to our valued customers.
